About the role:
Boston Scientific is looking for a Business Analyst in the Rhythm Management (RM) Regulatory organization. Specifically, this role will be a key member of the Regulatory Operations team and support regulatory work procedures, processes, and systems, as well as represent the RM  Regulatory function in cross-functional, cross-divisional, global, and corporate teams. This individual will analyze, support, and test Information System (IS) solutions to meet RM Regulatory business requirements. 


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support Regulatory IS solutions, including PRA Tracker, Magellan, RegIS, and participate in developing and implementing IS solutions across the RM Regulatory organization
  • Use excellent time management skills to execute responsibilities of multiple project activities simultaneously 
  • Evaluate identified gaps and issues to develop IS or process solutions to support the day-to-day activities of Regulatory Specialists, including International Specialists
  • Resolve technical issues including diagnosis of problem, recommendations for workarounds and defect correction of IS systems 
  • Work collaboratively with other cross-functional and cross-divisional IS specialists to share knowledge & capability across teams
  • Gather and document regulatory business essentials that control business systems used within the department (Magellan, SAP, RegIS, PRA tracker, and future MARs) to support RM Regulatory 
  • Appropriately communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items


Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field (i.e., management information systems, analytics, or business management).  Or equivalent experience with a 2-year technical degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of evaluating system change requests for feasibility, and adherence to global design. Focus on resolution tracking and problem escalation


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Jira, Windchill, Tableau, and SQL 
  • Experience with development and execution of test scripts & data validation. Test automation experience desirable 
  • Knowledge of SAP Functional & Analytical offerings
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
