About the role:
The CDS Business Optimization Key Account Executive develops, maintains and expands relationships with strategically important large customers. The role will be assigned to a limited number of named customers, responsible for achieving assigned account objectives. The Strategic Account Manager represents the entire range of Boston Scientific's Cardiac Diagnostic Solutions products and services to the customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring that the customers’ needs, and expectations are met.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure that the needs and expectations of the largest volume CDS customers are being met:
    • In partnership with the local field team, schedule in-person customer visits with top account physicians, AHPs, and staff annually to review product and service performance, complete account business reviews, and capture opportunities for improvement.
    • Measure performance via customer satisfaction scores, customer retention metrics, and completion of annual business reviews (with the local sales team).
  • Work closely with Corporate Accounts on Focus 85 key customer accounts as measured by:
    • Ability to get LUX-Dx and LUX on contract with unrestricted access.
    • Track and report on LUX penetration (market share) within contracted accounts.
    • Track and report on the number of BodyGuardian accounts with 50% market share commitments on non-standard BSC contracts.
  • Respond (in person whenever possible) to large customer concerns and opportunities when needed.
  • Represent the voice of the field (e.g., the customer) with internal partners.
  • Drive strategic account management collaboration across the company’s four different Cardiology Group business divisions to ensure a single coherent solution and engagement strategy for these key customers.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 6 years commercial experience within the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Strong business, relationship, and organizational management skills
  • Strategic thinker, analytical, accountable, and results-driven
  • Demonstrated record of success or over-achievement in past sales positions
  • Ability to travel to IDN accounts and markets as appropriate.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Previous Corporate/Strategic Accounts IDN sales experience within the medical device/healthcare industries
  • Cardiovascular sales experience
