About the role:

The individual is a key business partner providing both strategic guidance and hands on support to a number Global Operations functions and their Leadership teams.  He/She will partner with leaders and HR to design people and organization strategies and plans that support business objectives.


Your responsibilities include: 

  • Providing strategic HR direction to two global functions and effectively partnering with leaders of assigned groups to enable business objectives.  While also assisting with Minnesota- based teams across Global Operations.
  • Partnering with IT to implement Transformation and execute strong talent strategy around digital capabilities.
  • Collaborating across global HR business partner teams regularly to ensue alignment
  • Diagnosing opportunities to improve the performance of the organization utilizing tools to measure organization effectiveness e.g. 360 feedback surveys, employee metrics, benchmarking data, external market and industry trends.
  • Leading change management initiatives with organizational leaders to address business priorities
  • Conducting regular leadership and succession planning sessions with client groups and implement action plans to ensure succession ready bench and development of high potentials.
  • Conducting gap analysis and collaborate with Learning and Development to ensure appropriate career development programs and initiatives are aligned with critical skill development for the functions and groups.
  • Delivering training programs to client groups in partnership with Talent Management
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition to provide recruitment consultation (with a broader business/function perspective to drive proactive attraction of quality divers candidates for current and future positions)
  • Coaching and consulting with managers and employees on issues affecting morale, performance and development, helping to determine root causes and recommend appropriate strategies
  • Coordinating and driving the annual performance and compensation review process for assigned functions and groups
  • Supporting the Global Operations HR leadership team on global and company-wide projects that support designated client groups


What we're looking for:

Basic Qualifications

  • BA or BS Degree
  • Minimum of 7 year’s experience in a progressive Human Resources organization with direct experience as a HR Business Partner or Talent Management experience working directly with the business
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast paced, matrix environment, with a track record of accomplishments with measurable business impact
  • Must be able to interact with and influence senior leaders and work across all levels of the organization
  • Experience implementing organizational design, development and change management strategies in support of business objectives
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to analyze and utilize data to influence business decisions
  • Strong knowledge of progressive HR programs processes and tools
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skill
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with continuous improvement practices
  • Passionate about technology and experience with our digital talent demands
  • Travel 20%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree HR or Organizational Development Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  • Medical device /or life sciences experience
