Project Management Supervisor


About the role:

  • Responsible for implementing and supporting project management processes to develop and sustain electronic medical equipment throughout all phases of a product’s life cycle
  • Utilizes and maintains project schedule, financial, performance metrics and measures, and promote adoption and continuous improvement of standard project management practices
  • Utilizes quality system tools and work with contract manufacturers to sustain product on the market and expand to new geographies
  • Supports project planning, project status and monitoring, and post-project reviews.  Involved in project status reporting.  Implements and supports the use of project management and team collaboration technologies.  Coordinates with other project managers
  • Success in the role requires a focus on capturing the opportunities from across the various functions, creating a cohesive strategy for project execution and driving execution to ensure project completion
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships are required for this role


Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing, executing and leading of project/program teams to successfully deliver the defined products/solutions to business unit management (initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes)
  • Identifying resources required for assigned project activities and forming teams to complete the activities
  • Building team ownership and commitment to project plan
  • Developing and monitoring project budgets through regular analysis of cost and spend
  • Timely communication of priorities and status with senior management, regional and functional leads including presentations and discussions at senior leadership forums
  • Managing challenges of technology application and product development including identification, communication and escalation of technical and business risks
  • Resolving conflicts with team members and providing input to functional managers on team and team member performance
  • Facilitating end of life of products following commercial release of new products
  • Fostering a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements)


What we’re looking for:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • Strong organization, communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently handle full responsibility for project completion
  • Results-oriented and focused on delivering timely, accurate and premium execution
  • Experience in managing simultaneous cross-functional projects and/or initiatives


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electronic medical equipment
  • Experience with development of medical device mechanical, electrical, or software areas
  • Experience with managing and collaboration with contract manufacturing 
  • Experience or knowledge of relevant medical device industry standards
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams as a Project Manager, Operations Leader or Technical Leader
