About this role:
Responsible for supporting and assisting software/mechanical/ or electrical engineering  activities. Often involves specialized equipment in a laboratory or bench environment.

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supports tools and /or software by creating and maintaining tools, involving others as appropriate to solve issues.
  • Maintains detailed documentation through all phases of development, testing and analysis.
  • Reviews or develops processing or manufacturing instructions.
  • Continuously improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers, engineers, and analyzing activities to improve workflow and work processes.
  • Documents test results and test reports by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
  • completing visual Inspections
  • Work with vendors or 3rd party test house  on testing and/or component
  • POs/MyBuy
  • Pull information from SAP/Windchill as needed and recording retention/organization
  • Shipping and receiving items

 

Required qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience
  • Associate Degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

 

Preferred Qualification:

  • Previous Medical device experience
  • Knowledge of ASTM/ISTA standards
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices for Medical Device Industry
  • Experience with Windchill 
  • Experience with SAP 
  • Intermediate/advanced excel knowledge
  • Technical documentation: such as creating reports, protocols, presentations, and other documents as needed
  • Lab and testing experience. Packaging related preferred 
  • Ability to support multiple sites and time zones
  • Purchase order experience
  • Ability to work with Vendors
