About the role:

The Marketing Operations Specialist helps ensure that the marketing organization functions in an aligned, efficient and effective manner by serving as an expert in both technology and data while collaborating with members of the different parts of the Marketing and broader commercial organization.  This person will focus on streamlining processes, systems efficiencies, ensuring training and compliance, and may also serve as an administrator for select systems.

The Marketing Operations Specialist for the Rhythm Management business is a member of the Marketing Activation & Integration team and works closely with the Marketing Managers and Directors to develop and implement strategies and plans that support Rhythm Management’s business needs.  They will collaboratively consult with marketing leaders to support strategic business needs while improving the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, programs, and infrastructure. This person will also work with corporate partners to facilitate organizational alignment towards critical business objectives, while representing the needs of the Rhythm Management business, and leads implementation of company-wide strategic imperatives.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Research and evaluate the market for high-impact, high-leverage improvement tools and cross-functional collaboration opportunities
  • Directs the development and implementation of processes, tools, metrics, initiatives, infrastructure and technology that will support and improve the effectiveness of operations within the Marketing function
  • Benchmarks the organization’s current marketing activities, performance and investment against industry best practices; develops a roadmap for improvements and business case for undertaking necessary changes and leads implementation
  • Maintains the institutional memory of the organization by creating a shared knowledge portal and repository of best practices
  • Creates the conditions for the effective development of organization wide strategies and tactics that support the short and long-term business objectives
  • Ensures day-to-day operational support for existing systems and processes
  • Ensures compliance with Boston Scientific quality systems, SOPs and Work Instructions that govern our projects
  • Provides oversight and guidance to projects that support marketing initiatives.

 

What we're looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s level degree desired
  • 5+ years of Marketing Operations experience - medical device, healthcare capital, IT and/or other regulated industries a plus
  • Systems administration experience with Sales Force, Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Office 365, Aprimo, and Cvent desired
  • Experience with marketing and advertising agencies desired
  • Must have demonstrated experience in project management
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, programs and changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines; process and people oriented
  • Entrepreneurial spirit balanced with collaborative style and professional maturity
