About the role:

Under the guidance of the EP Fellows Program Associate Director, the Senior EP Fellows Training Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a regional educational strategy for Electrophysiology (EP) Fellows within the Western Region. This includes implementing and supporting comprehensive training programs across the AFib Solutions (AFS) and Cardiac Rhythm Management & Diagnostics (CRMDx) portfolios. The role is instrumental in building collaborative partnerships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), ensuring the safe and effective use of Boston Scientific therapies that deliver life-enhancing outcomes. This strategic individual contributor role will provide regional insights, identify opportunities for education delivery, and represent the voice of the customer in shaping future programming.

 

Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a remote work model allowing employees to work out of their home office outside of travel. Your responsibilities will include:

● Assess and analyze HCP requirements and training needs for EP Fellows within the local geographical market.

● Align organizational objectives and initiatives with those of each EP Fellowship academic program to maximize relevance and value.

● Coordinate and deliver educational content aligned to franchise priorities through in-service presentations, hands-on skills training, conference workshops, and both Boston Scientific-hosted and third-party-supported programs.

● Identify and collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs), including emerging leaders and expert speakers, to deliver curriculum and provide real-world clinical insights.

● Develop training approaches that optimize impact by determining appropriate audience, timing, location, and delivery methods.

● Assist in planning and execution of national EP Fellows programs across AFS and CRMDx, both in-person and virtual.

● Evaluate program effectiveness and faculty performance; recommend and implement improvements to training protocols and materials.

● Cultivate strong relationships with HCPs and internal field personnel, including regional Fellow Advisors.

● Act as the local point of contact for EP Fellows Education and execute educational activities of significant strategic importance.

● Partner closely with internal Professional Education stakeholders and align with interdependent functional teams to ensure cohesive execution.

 

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

● Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

● Minimum of 3 years' experience in field sales or clinical support within Electrophysiology.

● Experience working with academic institutions and Fellows programs.

● Strong understanding of EP principles, procedures, and technologies.

● Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with physician customers and cross-functional teams.

● Highly self-directed, with the ability to operate independently while managing complex, unprecedented challenges.

● Strong communication, collaboration, and process-building skills.

● Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% and work from a remote home office.

Preferred qualifications:

● Background in nursing, biomedical engineering, or a related clinical/scientific field.

● Master’s degree preferred.

● Previous experience in systematic training design and delivery within a field or lab-based environment.

● Proficient project management and organizational skills; highly detail-oriented.

● Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.

● Ability to lift and transport supplies and equipment as needed.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
