This is a place where you can find a career with meaningful purpose—improving lives through your life’s work.

About the role:

The Urology and Pelvic Health business at Boston Scientific is a growing dynamic business. This growth is partly fueled by several exciting acquisitions, including the October 2018 acquisition of Augmenix, which is where this role will be focused. Augmenix developed and commercialized SpaceOAR hydrogel – an injectable biodegradable gel used to reduce common side effects that men experience after receiving prostate cancer radiotherapy. This acquisition reinforces Boston Scientific as the urology category leader by expanding our prostate health footprint to encompass a solution that addresses the need to protect healthy organs at risk (OAR) during prostate cancer radiotherapy.

The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for the project management and operational support of global integrated communication strategies for product, portfolio, disease and patient campaigns to support the newly acquired prostate cancer business within the Urology and Pelvic Health business of Boston Scientific. This individual will have well-developed skills in project management, communications, and follow-up and exude a take-charge spirit to proactively engage with the broader Marketing and Integrated Communications team. This role reports into the Vice President of Marketing, Augmenix.

This individual will support a cross-functional team to execute communication and campaign strategies across multiple measurable channels, including digital, events, sales enablement, PR and traditional mediums, such as collateral and advertising. S/he will educate others on how to comply with Boston Scientific standard operation procedures, processes and related systems, as well as direct digital warehousing, printing and storage of developed assets.

This person must be extremely detail-oriented, comfortable juggling multiple changing priorities, committed to managing multiple stakeholders, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience working with Regulatory, Clinical and Legal in a highly regulated environment and familiarity with medical capital, medical device, pharmaceutical and/or IT is required.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Proactively lead the project management of global integrated communication strategies for product, portfolio, disease and patient campaigns for the Augmenix Prostate Cancer franchise within the Urology and Pelvic Health business of Boston Scientific
