Purpose

 

  • Works in line with Local Sales strategies to support achievement of sales growth to plan. Focus on customer support, order handling, complaint handling and assist the sales force wherever needed.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Demonstrates knowledge of current industry trends or information relevant to Boston Scientific business
  • Fully knowledgeable in the company’s policies, procedures and practices
  • Actively problem solves with customers internal and external towards winning solutions
  • Creates “case management” files for outstanding queries to be follow-up and closed off via tracking system
  • Builds strong customer relationships and encourages open discussions which contribute to continuous improvement opportunities
  • Develops relationships with internal customers
  • Delivers customer and company expectations within agreed time frames
  • Maintains and develops the relationships with established customer accounts towards the achievement of customer service excellence
  • Fully understands the logistic requirements of the customer in terms of delivery, procurement, consignment stock
  • Answer incoming telephone calls to the customer service department
  • Processing incoming orders and invoices
  • Respond to any customer queries in a timely manner
  • Organise shipments & returns where necessary
  • Field inventory management to include consignment and Sales Rep Associated Inventory (SRAI).  Work with sales force to achieve metrics
  • Monitor, process and follow up of any service complaints received
  • Deliver exceptional Customer Service at all times
  • Provide cover where required for IC, Endo, NMD, Radiology and Urology/WH Team
  • Supporting the field team to ensure that their accounts are kept up to date
  • Occasionally attending regional sales meetings & delivering presentations

 

Skills and experience required

 

  • At least 3 years Customer Services experience preferably in a highly regulated environment
  • Good knowledge of SAP or other ERP system to log customer queries
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good Excel knowledge
  • Good understanding of supply chain
