About the role:

Responsible for supporting the profitable and sustainable growth of Boston Scientific through the management of key new business integration projects as part of the Global Customer Services Program Management team. Specific responsibilities include Customer Service Integration project portfolio management, process analysis and development of programs.

Responsible for leading New Business (Acquisitions) Integrations, new Product Launches and Optimization initiatives in support of systems, policies and in conformance with the Boston Scientific quality systems.

A successful candidate will be professional in project portfolio management, coordination, communication, collaboration, change management and enthusiastic to work solution oriented, cross functional with multiple level of employees globally in a matrix organization. 

Initially EMEA focused developing more globally over time in line with Global Customer First transformation program.

 

Your responsibilities include:

 

Project Management

  • Develop plans and schedules for assigned projects, identify the resources required and form teams as required to complete the activities.
  • Identify and coordinate all activities required to complete the project or task through the team.
  • Ensure timely project completion ensuring current policies and practices are followed and keeping accurate documentation.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage moderate levels of technical risk.
  • Communicate and present project/project status to senior management and key project stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Quickly resolve conflicts and involve functional management as required, Elevate issues and clear barriers to project progress.
  • Establish and support a work environment of project management that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area you support
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel as necessary.
     

People Management

  • Lead a cross country group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals.  Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Direct and control the activities of New Business Integration projects/programs and project execution.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).

 

Continuous Process Improvement

  • Develop and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System, and the appropriate regulations for the area they support. 
  • Work with colleagues in the Program Management Team to share best practices and standardize communications to those outside the department.
  • Engage CS team members to identify opportunities that drive world class results in regard to New Business Integrations through a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Analyse and interpret business data to identify optimum improvement opportunities, suggest unique solutions and champion implementation.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Degree or Masters in relevant Business or Engineering discipline.
  • 5-10 years in Mfg. & Supply Chain with Customer Service experience as a distinct advantage (preferred Medical Device Industry)
  • Demonstrated experienced in new business, acquisitions and new product introduction
  • Project Management experience
  • Mobility - 25-30% travel at peak time.

Experience

  • Medical devices industry (preferred)
  • Project management experience of a portfolio of projects
  • Leading a team across countries
  • Working in a matrix organization
  • Experience interacting with internal (Marketing / Sales) and external end customers to deliver effective change management
  • Communication and influencing at senior management levels across a cross-functional and global organization
  • Working close together with Quality and Distribution

Location:                  Any EMEA Hub or Manufacturing Site (preferential Paris, Kerkrade, Galway)
