About the role:

Manager of specialized technology group responsible for development of software and controls for custom production and process development equipment.  This equipment produces medical device components and finished devices.  Devotes a portion of time to managerial, leadership, and staff development responsibilities.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Technical expert within a field who leads a specialized staff and provides direction to meet group objectives.
  • Provides guidance and training to staff, motivates individuals to achieve results, and assists staff in attaining performance/training objectives and career goals.
  • Determines appropriate staff levels, schedules, and resources.  Works with other managers (groups) to collaboratively assign tasks and schedule work to meet project completion dates and deliverables.
  • Directs the development of and insures compliance with department policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Develops and enhances cross-functional team relationships.
  • Monitors spending to assure that department and project budgets are achieved.
  • Works cross-functionally to identify and resolve technical and organizational issues.
  • Communicates the company, site, and department vision(s) to assure that staff objectives are aligned with the vision(s).

 

What we’re looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 7+ years of related work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in supervision 
  • Experience in Software Validation, Software Program management, Software Configuration management, custom software development and administration of Mfg Software Systems
  • Knowledge in Automated Systems and Vision Systems. 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science Degree Preferred
  • Knowledge in Rockwell and Allen Bradley.
