About the role:

 Responsible for delivering exceptional support and leadership of selling activities in the field sales organization through commercial strategies, reporting mechanisms, process optimization, consistent policies, and appropriate use of technology.


Your Responsibilities include:

  • Provides leadership on all aspects of Sales Operations to team members:  commercial strategy, sales compensation, sales analytics, sales communications, budget management, and program management.
  • Builds, refines, and implements the optimal sales model for sales growth.
  • Defines and implements all aspects of sales compensation strategy and sales commissions administration.
  • Defines the sales quota and allocation process.
  • Provides field sales management with reporting and mechanisms relative to field sales personnel performance.
  • Assists in the definition of annual and quarterly organizational goals and recommends supporting activities to achieve.
  • Implements and evolves an internal communication strategy for field sales.
  • Sets consistent policies with respect to field sales support activities.
  • Provides direction in setting overall selling budgets and guidelines.
  • Optimizes existing processes through appropriate use of technology.
  • Implements new processes as they become relevant for the selling organization.
  • Assists in setting long term information technology goals for the selling organization.
  • Leads a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.
  • Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • May direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs and/or operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements).


What we are looking for in you: 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 5+ year commercial experience in either Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing or Finance
  • Proven success in leading and building teamwork across the global enterprise
  • Superior program management, organization and process skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Vision and leadership skills required to drive change across commercial sales organization


Strongly Preferred

  • Direct Field Sales experience in sales management
  • Advanced degree
