This Senior Product Manager will play a critical role developing and executing the global Siemens Healthineers strategy and will include activities such as defining marketing plans and budgets, identifying growth opportunities, provide specific targeting direction, supporting the sales team with training and tracking effectiveness of marketing programs against set goals and influencing upstream development across multiple Interventional Cardiology franchises. This position will enable BSC Interventional Cardiology to strengthen our market position.  This individual will work closely with the Siemens Healthineers Organization, global marketing teams, sales operations, sales training and medical affairs, other BSC divisions, and have a strong focus on execution and implementation of tools and programs. Ability to work, partner and collaborate with both internal and external customers is essential to success in this role.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Marketing Strategy Planning and execution: Lead the development of marketing plans, ensure effective implementation of commercial plans in line with the overall franchise goals and marketing strategy. Conduct rapid sharing of best practices across functions and regions.
  • Commercial Strategy:  Lead the development, pilot and implementation of various commercial models including capital purchase agreements, revenue growth and rebate programs, service agreements and product bundling to maximize the impact to our IC business. 
  • Business Planning (AOP): Track brand/market performance of solution, analyze issues and action plan development within defined AOP and assist in the development of the franchise budget (including travel, promotion, advertising, etc.) and plans. 
  • Market (Market Conditions, Customers, Competitors) Analysis: Conduct analysis of competitor activities, customer needs, technology and infrastructure, therapy adoption etc. relevant to  own solutions in order to analyze impact of market conditions, guide teams, report back to the regional (FMM, Sales Operations) and Global team & highlight possible modifications to the regional/ franchise marketing plan.
  • Marketing Communications: Support development of key marketing communications around solution’s, work closely with agencies and media to develop the right messaging and its delivery; seeking regional and global approvals; tracking the effectiveness of the communication (Brand track) to drive differentiation for our  solution.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Establish relationships with KOLs in the field; create relationships with Siemens sales and marketing counterparts; Identify key champions internally and externally; develop support structure and relationship with sales representatives and sales management; and participate in main customer events.
  • Training: Develop global training objectives and deliverable plan in partnership with the training team. Ensure dissemination of the marketing collateral to sales teams and KOLs, and provide guidance on solution queries. 
  • Sales Communication:  Own content schedule, content development, and execution.  Responsible for tracking key metric, sales force awareness, and understanding of communicated content.
  • Collaboration: Ensure alignment, with Siemens counterparts on marketing strategy, tools and content, customer targeting, sales training, co-marketing of meetings and events activities and technology development priorities.  
  • Quality: Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific; As interface to Customer and Sales Organization has direct responsibility to facilitate, share documents and process to identify, notify and ensure any complaint or problem are addressed, thereby demonstrating high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviors; Responsible to facilitate and champion the quality requirements and the message of compliance to internal and external customers for all events and campaigns.

 

What we’re looking for in you 

  • MBA preferred, Undergraduate degree required
  • Minimum 5 years’ successful related business/marketing work experience.  Medical device experience preferred.
  • Experience marketing or selling permanent or mobile C-Arm systems and imaging equipment found in the cath lab environment 
  • Prior Product Management Experience (upstream & downstream), including strategic commercialization within the medical field preferred
  • Value based healthcare experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of clinical and financial data relevant to healthcare systems
  • Analytical skills to resolve complex issues in creative ways.   Clear thinker, strong problem-solving skills
  • Track record of developing a strategic understanding of new/emerging target customer segments and building a marketing plan designed to achieve business objectives with those customers
  • Proven ability to work and influence across a matrix environment.   Strong communicator internally and externally, builds networks, and partners with peers and internal and external customers.
  • KOL management and experience preferred.
  • Willing to travel 25%, including domestic and international
