About the Role:

This position is responsible for supporting the design and development of results-oriented training modules, programs, and assessments for the Interventional Cardiology & Structural Heart Therapies internal and field teams. Major job duties include creation of training content leveraging a variety of media and methodologies, development and execution of sales and clinical training assessments, methods for program improvements, and maintenance of existing training courses by researching, planning, and developing content and restructuring of the content as needed.


Your Responsibilities include: 


  • Manage the design, development, and administration of assigned sales training projects via Learning Management System
  • Collaborate with Sales Training Manager, Marketing, Medical Education, etc. on various strategic projects, new product launches and special product promotions.
  • Interface with training, marketing, sales, and operations to identify training needs and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborates with internal subject matter experts and/or cross-functional teams for content development.  May also work to identify external programs, resources and vendors that specifically meet learning & development needs.  Works with vendors to provide quality cost effective solutions. 
  • Ensure all meeting and training materials meet legal requirements.
  • Facilitate and support Learning and Design processes and efforts required to meet Quality System, Compliance and Legal requirements
  • Assess and update sales training materials and teaching methods to continuously improve sales productivity
  • Measures the effectiveness of learning programs.  Designs, implements, and supports the development and use of learning assessment methodologies and tools
  • Develop training standards and measurement tools to measure performance following each training/meeting
  • Write criterion-referenced performance-based objectives
  • Recommend instructional strategies
  • Support the setup and coordination of sales training classes.
  • Work with Managers of Sales Training to coordinate and streamline the training setup and execution of various classes & meetings


What we are looking for in you: 

Minimum Qualifications:


  • BA/BS in business discipline or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years instructional design or technical writing experience
  • Learning Methodology, ADDIE preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with project management and project plan management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently and in a team environment
  • Expert in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with Adobe suite of products (especially Captivate), Brainshark, Articulate, Storyline, and other instructional technologies
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal oriented
  • Proficient at multitasking
  • Experience working with virtual classroom tools; WebEx, Adobe Connect, Box
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing shifting priorities
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical/medical content
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, determined, and Results-oriented team player
