About the Role:

Close the Gap is Boston Scientific’s health equity initiative, which aims to eliminate cardiovascular care disparities, helping to ensure all patients receive optimal cardiac care regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity or primary language.  This role will lead program development and implementation in current and future Close the Gap Emerging Market sites. In partnership with professional societies and patient advocacy groups, Close the Gap strives to improve access to cardiovascular care for all patients.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create and maintain deployable educational programs to maximize successful and consistent nationwide expansion.
  • Travel to targeted sites to assist with appropriate clinical/educational content creation, initial program set up and execution of educational/community events.
  • Manage coordination and prioritization of current and new strategic and local partner development requests/opportunities (ABC, Women Heart, Societies, Sales etc).
  • Partner to create program content and assist with the Close the Gap Integrated Marketing/Communication plan and Diversifying Clinical Trials objectives. 
  • Lead project execution by assigning tasks, managing resources, identifying risks and contingency plans and providing status updates.
  • Assist in CTG data driven value proposition and the collection of quantitative/qualitative metrics to evaluate effectiveness and impact.
  • Consult with team by sharing project management knowledge, processes or techniques and mentoring more junior project leaders
  • Assist with grant funding process and decision making
  • Prepare impactful presentations to inform or influence key stakeholders
  • Be an advocate for Close the Gap



    What we’re looking for in you:

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ work experience within a medical device industry
  • Demonstrated successful program/project execution, strategic planning and analysis with strong business acumen
  • Ability to multi-task, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines within a faced paced environment
  • Experience with assisting in the development of educational materials and marketing strategy implementation
  • Internal and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization
  • Must be comfortable discussing race, ethnicity and gender disparities
  • Computer Skills/literacy: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Share point, Visio
  • Ability to travel up to 30% 


    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare, public health experience or advocacy
  • Commercial experience
  • Master's degree
