About the role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a Contracts Administrator II to join its Legal team that supports the Company’s Global Sourcing organization. This role will offer a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in the legal field with a focus on contracting activities.

 

Your responsibitlies include:

 

Assist attorneys and senior contract administrator in the following: 

 

  • Drafting, revision and negotiation of various legal agreements, including master services agreements, consulting agreements, supply agreements, amendments, confidentiality agreements, and Statements of Work;
  • Reviewing contracts to identify/resolve issues and coordinate workflow;
  • Implementation of changes to contract templates as directed;
  • Interfacing with internal clients and external parties regarding the negotiation/review of contracts and the contracting process;
  • Participating in special projects as required;
  • Performing additional contracts administration duties as needed

 

What we're looking for: 

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3 years contract administration experience
  • Working knowledge and understanding of standard contracting terms/types
  • Ability to interpret contract terms and clearly communicate same to internal/external customers
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a growing, changing, and fast-paced environment
  • Must work well not only independently, but also in both group and shared settings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, and Excel

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous negotiation experience
  • Procurement/Sourcing experience a plus
  • Experience using iManage a plus
