About the team:

The Enterprise Marketing Strategy team contains several smaller sub-teams, including Marketing Capabilities, and is part of Boston Scientific’s Corporate Marketing & Market Access function. The Marketing Capabilities team is focused on building and enhancing the capabilities of our global marketing organization through direct training, best practice sharing, process and tool enhancements, and hands-on workshops. The team collaborates closely with our divisional and regional marketers, Global Digital Marketing team, and HR to help evolve our marketing organization.

 

About the role:

Use your broad digital marketing skills and experience to help Boston Scientific’s global marketing function raise the bar in omni-channel marketing, transforming it into a customer-centric, strategic organization that delivers exceptional value in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. This person will be responsible for strengthening global digital marketing capabilities by collaborating with cross-functional & cross-divisional teams to define a digital curriculum and deliver learning and development content across the organization.  In this role you will facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned and partner with commercial teams to help drive transformation throughout the organization.

 

The successful candidate will build global relationships, develop best in class omni-channel marketing programs, and provide marketers with a common framework, language and tools to drive better business results.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Upskill digital marketing capabilities across Boston Scientific’s global marketing organization: 
    • Identify, assess, and prioritize digital marketing knowledge gaps through partnership with business unit marketing teams and with business transformation programs.
    • Create new, compelling learning and development content (working with internal teams and external vendors) to build a contemporary understanding of marketing in a global, digital, and social world.
    • Define digital marketing learning journeys for marketers of different skill & knowledge levels.
  • Facilitate sharing of marketing best practices and lessons learned across the organization to improve marketers’ efficiency and effectiveness in driving business results through digital channels. 

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Life Sciences preferred.
  • 7+ years of B2B/B2C digital marketing experience, preferably for a life sciences or technology company (e.g. medical devices, diagnostics, pharma, biotech)
  • Passion for coaching/advising teams on embedding digital activities within their marketing programs to drive business revenues
  • Certifications in Salesforce & Google Analytics is preferred
  • Proven experience driving digital adoption within a complex organization
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships at all organization levels
  • Demonstrated project management experience working across business groups and functional departments without direct reporting lines
  • Self-directed individual who proactively identifies & addresses opportunities
