About the role: 

Provides administrative support to the Health Care Compliance team (HCP). Provides high quality services to all clients while protecting the company's legal assets. Support includes contract administration, interaction with HCP Spend Solution system, telephone coverage, filing and tracking of legal contracts and documents, mail processing, and maintaining appropriate reference materials. Deals with highly sensitive and confidential material related to legal matters.

 

Your responsibilites include:

  • Assist Compliance Counsel and HCP Contract Administrator with HCP contracting process. Responsible for researching HCP's status and contract availability in Spend Hub system including OIG and EPLS review.
  • Responsible for researching HCP’s status and contract availability in Spend Hub system.
  • May assist with drafting consulting agreements as instructed by HCP Contract Administrator or Compliance Counsel.
  • Process Service Requisitions/create Confirmation of Services based on contracts with HCPs.
  • Create and process Service Requisition Records within Spend Hub.
  • May interact with individuals and groups from business units and other areas of the organization; along with HCPs.
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • Track all documentation as required to support contracting process outside of Spend Hub.
  • Assist Compliance team with various compliance initiatives as requested.
  • Make recommendations regarding processes and documentation to ensure compliance with policies, regulations and laws. Review SOP's regularly to ensure all policies and procedures are being followed.

  • Participate in meetings and phone conferences with the other facilitators to discuss best practices, issue resolution, and feedback.
  • Complete and submit HCP Vendor Add Forms. Enter information and scan / upload documents into Spend Hub, including HCPA request forms, signed contracts, service requisition forms, approved invoices, check requests and payment request forms. Upon receipt of indirect spend data spreadsheet (prepared by business unit), review and validate HCP information and complete entry in to Spend Hub.
  • Answer phone, type correspondence, route mail, maintains calendar, maintain project lists, schedules meetings, and maintains appropriate reference materials. May facilitate management of shared mailbox for Compliance team.
  • May be responsible for other administrative duties as assigned.

  • Assist Global Business Services (GBS) team, which processes payments for HCPs, with questions regarding services/expenses requested by HCP for payment/expense reimbursement.  
  • Provide training for new BSC employees on the contracting process and more specifically the Service Request process. 
  • Create and provide quarterly metrics for Service Requests and discrepancy memos processed. 
  • Work with Counsel and others to obtain approvals for requests for services that will occur outside the US.
