About the role: 

 

We are looking to add a Program Manager to the Urology & Pelvic Health PMO team.

 

  • Global expansion is a key strategic pillar for the UroPH division.
  • This PM acts as a critical member of a dedicated cross-functional team that has been created to support our global growth aspirations, reporting into the UroPH Project Management Office (PMO).
  • We are looking for someone who can effectively lead teams across several different initiatives, clarify current vs. future priorities and escalate risks and obstacles.
  • This is a great opportunity to take on a visible and dynamic leadership role, in an exciting business unit that is experiencing rapid growth and change.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects in partnership with teams across the globe to accelerate regulatory approvals and launches.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams across BSC, including country and regional teams across Regulatory, Marketing, and Clinical functions.
  • Identify where global support is required to launch products in strategic geographies and lead efforts to align stakeholders and map the future launch cadence.
  • Create / improve upon processes to increase proactive support to teams across the globe.
  • Escalate resource constraints and track / mitigate risks and issues.
  • Lead internal continuous improvement efforts related to tracking all international projects and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Support planned improvements to the third-party integration process.
  • Generate high-level plans, communications, and schedules for all projects and maintain program-level view.
  • Effectively lead project teams ensuring good cross-functional communications and provide input to functional managers on team and team member performance.
  • Ensure current BSC policies and practices are followed and accurate documentation requirements are followed.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Project / Process Experience: New Product Development (NPD), commercialization, Acquisitions, Capital Equipment/Service, Quality System/Regulation and/or Technology development
  • Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g. Military, community volunteer activities, leadership role (preferably in Medical Devices))
  • Leading, energizing and coaching cross-functional teams
  • Manage project execution to deliver cost, schedule, performance, and verification of results
  • Co-create project plan: timeline, resource needs, and budget
  • Managing customer / stakeholder expectations from peers to senior management
  • Communicates and presents to groups from peers to senior management

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with project intake and prioritization processes
  • Influences and motivates others over whom they have no direct control or authority
  • Communication: ability to effectively interface with Sr. Management
  • Customer: direct customer facing experience, solid understanding of customer’s business process and environment
  • Aware of industry standards / best practices
