<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">About the role:

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Support the transformation of Boston Scientific’s global marketing function into a customer-centric, strategic organization that delivers exceptional value in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. By building off Boston Scientific’s new Global Marketing Competency Model, this position will be responsible for the development and integration of learning and development programs and associated projects to advance global marketing capabilities. This person will also work with divisions and regions to map critical marketing processes and help facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned across the organization.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The successful candidate will gain an opportunity to build global relationships, develop best in class marketing programs and tools, and execute strategic initiatives across BSC.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Your responsibilities will include:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Facilitate key marketing process definition to enable global alignment and continuous improvement.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Identify and share marketing best practices and lessons learned across the organization to improve marketers’ efficiency and effectiveness in driving business results.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Own and enhance the BSCMarketingU SharePoint portal via development of new online training content, best practice dissemination, and improved portal functionality
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and key Marketing Leaders to refine & execute a robust marketing talent acquisition strategy
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Help organize and facilitate learning programs and workshops for marketers within the divisions and regions. Example workshop topics could include: value proposition, customer insight and pricing strategy development.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">What we're looking for:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Sciences discipline required.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience must include at least 3 years of marketing experience, preferably for a life sciences company (e.g. medical devices, diagnostics)
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Previous learning & development experience preferred.
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Proven experience driving change in a complex organization
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Demonstrated cross-functional project management experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships at all organization levels
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Self-directed individual who proactively identifies & addresses opportunities
