About this role:
At Boston Scientific, Data Science plays a key role in our mission to deliver a world-class omnichannel experience to patients and healthcare professionals. An experienced Marketing Analytics Data Scientist is needed to help us succeed. Using your expertise, you'll provide insights and models that will help marketers and sales drive growth. Among the programs you'll be working to drive success are A/B testing, lead scoring, media mix modeling, attribution analysis, and next best action modeling. Your responsibilities include:

  • Engage with marketing, sales, and IT teams to enhance marketing programs and campaign performance, as well as to cultivate a culture of effective data-driven decision making.
  • Create and maintain lead scoring models for multiple demand generation campaigns.
  • Establish and maintain Next Best Action Models for various marketing and sales programs.
  • Using channel attribution and media mix models, provide marketing insights and optimization plans.
  • Drive innovation by developing new techniques and approaches that sharpen our marketing decision-making process.
  • Stay informed about the latest digital marketing trends and data science techniques relevant to our marketing goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional work experience in a data science role.
  • 2+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Experience using machine learning and other advanced techniques to perform at least two of the following: lead scoring, channel attribution, media-mix, or next-best action modeling.
  • Knowledge of digital media data (social, search, display, email).
  • 2+ years of experience using Python for data science.
  • Experience presenting on data science concepts and results to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and deploying omnichannel analytics approaches such as next-best action models in a sales or marketing program.
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Data visualization skills using Tableau or similar tools.
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and similar products.
  • B2B marketing experience
  • 2+ years’ experience using R for data science
  • Experience using AWS tools (ala Sagemaker) to run and deploy data science models.
