About the role:
Boston Scientific believes that to grow our business, we must grow our people.  With that as context, the Specialist II Organizational Effectiveness & TM Americas role will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation and support of enterprise culture, engagement organizational effectiveness initiatives.  This encompasses processes and tools supporting TM Americas team, talent planning and development, enterprise programs and tools, and OD, engagement and culture initiatives.  They will partner with the Director, Organizational Effectiveness & TM Americas to support efforts.  BSC is looking for a strong and credible practitioner who is passionate and driven to build and engrain a culture of development at Boston Scientific.
 
Your responsibilities include:         

  • Support the global processes, tools and programs for various culture, engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.  Support TM Americas team on local / customized client interventions.  
  • Build and organize TM toolkits for STM and HRBP use
  • Serve as a Qualtrics Super User.  Support Qualtrics Advisory Council as needed and assist in survey administration to support GTM and HR.
  • Help in the creation and maintenance of TM Americas sharepoints, dashboards and metrics.
  • Provide instructional design support for Talent Americas and Organizational Effectiveness teams by creating job aids, tools and materials.
  • Support facilitation of virtual programs as needed
  • Support team activities such as annual Leadership Development Summit, Manager Pathways Program, and other core STM programs.  This includes administrative support, collaboration with input providers, and creating communications into clear, concise and engaging formats.
  • Create and maintain STM information on various platforms such as BSC Intranet, SharePoint, TEAMS, and Yammer.
  • Participate in various culture, engagement, and organizational effectiveness projects as assigned.
  • General breakdown of duties will be:
    • 50% Project Management and Support
    • 20% Instructional design / Facilitation for virtual programs
    • 30% Intranet/TEAMS/SharePoint/Yammer Updates / Dashboards & Metrics

 

What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years of applicable work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 
  • General knowledge in instructional design, employee development or various organizational development areas.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Experience building engaging presentations, updating and organizing data and content, and working with surveys and associated technology. 
  • Ability to execute while leveraging competency in collaboration, relationship building, and communication.
