In the Endoscopy division, we provide advance technologies for diagnosing and treating diseases of the digestive system and airway.  We are able to provide a number of solutions to patients that include: Balloon Dilation, Stenting, ERCP/Cholangioscopy, Pancreatico-Biliary, Pathology, Infection Control, Tissue Resection, Hemostasis and EUS.  We have a robust product line and pipeline, and we will continue to make investments in minimally invasive Endoscopic treatments.

 

Role will be based on the East Coast and will need to be based near a major airport.

 

About the role:

The Market Development Team is a U.S. field-based marketing organization committed to developing and/or executing the strategic initiatives of the Endoscopy Division.  This specialized position serves as a field-based Marketing representative responsible for market development objectives in the Surgical Endoscopy  customer segment focusing on current technologies and new technologies, services/solutions relevant to this space. Market Development Managers (MDM’s) collaborate with cross-functional teams on upstream and downstream marketing objectives. A field-based MDM is responsible for focused engagement with the Key Opinion Leaders in his/her area, Society engagement, technology commercialization, market expansion efforts, upstream product development support and the creation and/or execution of key projects.

  • Covering key Societies and physicians in the US
  • Working with KOL’s in key focus sub-specialties potentially including but not limited to:  General Surgeons, Colorectal Surgeons, Thoracic Surgeons, Bariatric Surgeons and Hepato-Biliary Surgeons. 
  • National responsibility (Candidate must live close to a major airport)

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Field-based Marketing representative in strategic markets primarily responsible for development of KOL’s
  • Develop Centers of Excellence for training and market expansion.
  • Develop strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Society management and development
  • New technology (products and services) commercialization (Upstream and Downstream Activities).
  • Develop and execute customer Market Development programs
  • Collaborate with all functions that have responsibility for this segment to include Pulmonary/Surgical FSO, Product/Service Marketing, HEMA, Education, etc.
  • Actively participate on the Core team during product development process for key products, services and solutions related to the Surgical marketplace.
  • Support new business development activities as needed.

Quality System Requirements

  • In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:
  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

 

What we’re looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in medical device industry with minimally invasive surgery companies
  • Extensive Customer Facing Experience required
  • Previous Sales experience required; Sales management experience preferred
  • Outpatient center (ASC or Multi-specialty) management experience desired
  • 75% travel commitment required
  • New technology commercialization/expansion experience preferred
  • Marketing experience preferred
