About this role:

In this position, you will be the lead contact for Urology and Pelvic Health and will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing processes for Health Care Professionals (HCP) Contracting by utilizing available technology.  This position also requires immense coordination with BSC internal departments including Global Compliance, Marketing, Sales, Marketing Global Brand & Communications (GB&C), Health Economics & Reimbursement (HE&R), Research & Development (R&D) as well as Finance. This position may also include direct communication and interaction with both the potentially contracted facility representatives and/or directly with the HCPs.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the analysis, administration, construction and processing of Health Care Providers (HCPs) contracts. Duties may include:
  • Detailed review for a high volume of HCP contracts to ensure accuracy and corporate compliance
  • Work closely with all departments in the UroPH group to resolve Fair Market Value (FMV), Annual Needs Assessments (ANAs), International processes and any other issues that might impede the contracting and HCP engagement process.
  • Participates in problem resolution related to contract inconsistencies and customer perception in accordance with corporate compliance
  • Working closely with compliance team to create, negotiate, manage, and execute all required documentation, validation, and verifications for the HCP contracting process and tracking within databases
  • Utilize contracting management system tools and adhere to defined contracting operations processes to ensure accurate and timely administration of contracts.
  • Support the management of our customer hierarchy and group affiliations according to contractual requirements and established processes.
  • Analysis of the trends and current contracted HCP lists for renewal process
  • Create, implement, manage, and execute key metrics for Senior Management and reporting for business partners
  • Coordinating, drafting, processing and tracking Annual Needs Assessments (ANAs) and amendments for the different franchises
  • Maintaining the database for HCP qualifications and HCP contract info
  • Coordinate with other contracting team members to facilitate effective workflow throughout the contract lifecycle and consistent process execution.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on corporate contract management guidelines; providing guidance to interdepartmental teams


What we’re looking for in you:

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5 years in medical device or pharmaceutical managing Health Care Professional (HCP) contracting process with compliance background

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability and desire to operate independently, as well as a member of a cross-functional team, and to work with a positive attitude in the fast-paced world of Medical Education.
  • Paralegal experience is a plus
  • Individual should be able to build long-lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of the Sales, Marketing, and BSC organization
  • Detailed-oriented person with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Individual should be able to balance short-term, urgent needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Comprehension, understanding, and focus on performing continuous improvement in aspects of this position
  • Advanced skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Previous experience with a plus.
