About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will serve as the "Chief of Staff" to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), within the Urology division. This person will work as a strategic partner, advisor, and operational leader. This role will develop and oversee key initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure that all strategic planning related to annual operating and strategic plans are aligned with clinical and divisional priorities. The Senior Project Manager will also act as Global Engagement Leader driving international clinical goal setting and collaboration.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CMO and clinical leadership team in identifying, developing, and prioritizing key initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic business objectives.
- Global Engagement Leadership: Act as Global Engagement Leader for Clinical Sciences, and own the implementation of strategy, communication, and program efforts to increase global partnership and two-way goal setting and collaboration. Ensure global/regional teams are engaged in clinical strategy, clinical trial planning, and medical education strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Gather input from key stakeholders to help define needs, metrics, and other input to ensure the continued alignment and progress of key objectives.
- Communication & Reporting: Lead communication resources to ensure relevance and execution of internal and global clinical communications via Townhalls, newsletter, group meetings, SharePoint sites and other mediums.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand functional strategies, ensuring seamless integration across teams.
- Operational Excellence: Drive efficient operations, ensuring workflows are streamlined and timelines are adhered to.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess organizational performance and project success. Provide regular performance measure updates to leadership teams, ensuring Clinical Science is meeting commitments and delivering value. Assist leadership teams with quarterly health reviews and playbook updates.
- Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams on specific projects, fostering alignment and collaboration across departments.
- Team Support: Act as a liaison between the clinical team and other stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns as they arise.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of work experience in a project management and/or cross-functional team leadership role, ideally in a clinical or medical setting
- Demonstrated experience working successfully with global partners in a clinical and/or medical device setting
- Strong executive presence, comfortable communicating with and presenting to all levels of leadership and able to tailor communications to the audience
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of managing complex projects
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior leadership, teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to mentor and coach team members to achieve project goals
Preferred qualifications and competencies:
- Formal experience in performance improvement methodologies and leading workshop solutioning events (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, WorkOut)
- Has global experience (for example – global assignment)
- Change management leadership experience
- Demonstrated history of productively challenging the status quo in service of organizational and business needs
