Surgical Airway Regional Sales Manager 

 

Summary:

The Surgical and Pulmonary Endoscopy Region Manager (SE RM) will report directly to the Surgical Endoscopy Director of Sales and will be primarily responsible for managing a team of Surgical and Pulmonary Endoscopy Territory Managers (SE TMs).  The SE RM will be responsible for sales performance and execution, individual professional development needs, as well as identifying, developing and maintaining strong relationships the Surgeon and Pulmonary customer.

 

Responsibilities:

Manage:

  • Recruit, develops and lead a team of SE TMs
  • Monitor SE TM sales performance on an continual basis
  • Responsible for revenue and expense budgets
  • Ensure all employees complete required training with documentation
  • Ensure applicable BSC SOP’s are understood and implemented - i.e. audits.
  • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area they support.
  • Maintains talent mindset and actively develops pipeline of future SE TM candidates.

     

    Performance Management:

  • Integrate individual territory plans and account profiles into a broader national and regional sales plan and coach sales team accordingly
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring a regional targeting program
  • Prepare and monitor quarterly, national and regional sales forecasts and performance
  • Participate in the determination of market potential and sales expense estimates
  • Identify sales forecast gaps, submit corrective strategies and implement aggressive sales growth

     

    Customer Focus:

  • Maintain knowledge of the industry and the competition, continually seeking information from physicians, suppliers  and others to challenge, modify and prioritize national and regional strategies and prepares their team to counter the competition
  • Attend and participate in customer, company and industry sponsored forums and courses
  • Ensures the effective implementation of representative customer records, key contacts, reports and company policies
  • Responsible for the proper maintenance of organization equipment within the assigned personnel

     

    Collaborate:

  • Work directly with the Surgical & Pulmonary Endoscopy Manager of Sales Training to develop the SETM training continuum
  • Continually partner with the Surgical & Pulmonary Endoscopy Marketing team, as well as all applicable Product Franchise and Customer Education Leadership teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key BSC functional areas within both, the GI Endoscopy National Accounts team and Endoscopy Sales Management as it relates to contract negotiations involving all products within the Surgical & Pulmonary Endoscopy call point

     

    Qualifications:

  • Must have minimum of 3-6+ years of successful BSC Endoscopy sales experience
  • Previous BSC Endoscopy Sales Management strongly preferred
  • Previous Market Development Management strongly preferred
  • Experience related to BSC Endoscopy’s internal functions and departments (i.e. – Marketing, R&D, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
