Purpose Statement

Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process and product function systems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.  Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to determine responsibilities and solutions.  Establishes and ensures compliance with good housekeeping practices, employee hygiene and equipment; works with Research and Development during new product start-ups, and establishes key checkpoints for new products and processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Management and Training team to strategically develop Operations Training.
  • Provide Training, coaching & mentoring for SME (Subject Matter Expert) & Training Coordinators to empower a proactive team, encouraging continuous improvement & growth within the team.
  • Carry out proactive training needs analysis & develop appropriate Training plans meeting business needs & Operational Training metrics.
  • Administration of TRS in order to support production, including TRS issue resolution at site level and communication and liaison with the TRS Global team
  • Participate in regulatory audits in relation to training records maintenance and manages in order to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory/legal requirements
  • Creation and Maintenance of TRS training plans & records
  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality.
  • To ensure compliance with all areas of the Quality system and drive compliance to Training Quality metrics.
  • Works with Operations on the introduction and on load of new products.
  • Implements and operates in-house programs, practices, and procedures for training personnel.
  • When necessary provides on the job training, G.M.P training, I.S.O./EN training, safety training.
  • May use and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer in-house training programs.
  • Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Where appropriate, coordinate, Manage & Measure the activities of allocated Training Coordinators.
  • Take a proactive approach in developing and expanding the effectiveness of Operations Training through Project Management of strategic projects, influencing key stakeholders, delivering continuous improvement
