ASEAN Demand Planning Analyst

  • Coordinates and controls Country Demand Planning and New Product Launch (NPL) Regional forecasting activities required to meet customer needs, business requirements, and service level objectives. In addition, supports, monitors and maintains finished goods inventory levels and system integrity.


  • This role serves as the conduit between ASEAN Supply Chain and its Business Units in coordinating the countries' Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP) process, performing demand planning, product launch & exit plans, driving inventory optimisation initiatives, and managing supply execution as required to meet customer needs and business financial objectives.



  • Lead the monthly SI&OP process, aligning efforts across Operations, Finance, Regulatory, and Sales & Marketing teams, within the Boston Scientific quality framework, in support of strategic and financial goals.

    •   Partner with Business Units and other key functional stakeholders to understand market trends and strategic imperatives in support of commercial ambitions, and drive supply execution across your portfolio.

    •   Set and review inventory policy to support segmented service level targets across your portfolio and in consideration of financial KPIs.

    •   Prepare and maintain monthly Demand Plans, including consignment inventory requirements, strategic stock planning, new production introduction, product transitions and end-of-life phase-outs, in the RapidResponse supply chain planning system.

    •   Proactively analyse inventory, sales and scrap data to provide recommendations to Business Units and other key stakeholders, enabling improvement in working capital and scrap.

    •   Lead cross-functional Value Improvement Projects (VIPs) to drive consistent improvement in service, forecast accuracy and financial outcomes.

    •   Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.








  • Planning & Execution: Proven track record in developing and implementing plans to drive supply chain, field inventory and operational strategies.
  • Analysis: Ability to work with large data sets, analyse problems, assess service and financial impacts, and provide recommendations to manage.
  • Customer Focus: Seeks to understand and prioritise among the unique needs of a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Influence: Win support and acceptance of proposals and VIP initiatives through careful consideration of key stakeholder needs.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and building relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, across geographies, to achieve successful outcomes.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a demand planning / forecasting role, with exposure to leading an IBP process.
  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain planning and inventory management, including statistical forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience managing large data sets essential.
  • Ability to solve problems and work independently and collaboratively with teams across geographies.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and high-quality output.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment.
