About the role

Boston Scientific's Urology & Pelvic Health division is the world's leader in devices and we are looking to grow our Sales & Business Development force creating an additional Franchise Business Development SpaceOAR team

The Business Development Manager SpaceOAR DACH will be responsible for team management/ building and leading the business development, sales, account management and (new) business development in the DACH region.

 

Your responsibilities include

 

Market

  • To set up strategies to capture and broaden BSC’s market share in the DACH region. 
  • Achieving the budget/ goals and objectives through driving sales revenue that exceed division targets
  • You ensure customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning and people management/ inspiration.
  • You have a good knowledge of the Industry and competition and maintain a excellent relationship with customers and hospital employees/ physicians
  • You maintain contacts with major accounts and key relationships seeking to leverage profitable business ventures
  • Maintain training and customer service with existing customers
  • Invest and strengthen the relationship with new and active Key Opinion Leaders
  • You promote active cross selling for the Urology and other BSC divisions

 

Management

  • You build and lead a team of 3-5 Business Development Specialists
  • You are responsible for a proper Business Development & Sales execution by conducting frequent reviews and trainings with your team,
  • You spend maximum time in the field with each Business Development Sepcialist to support their professional development needs and to maintain and develop strong relationships and understanding of the customer

 

Network

  • You attend and participate in customer, company and industry sponsored forums and courses
  • You develop and maintain relationships with key Boston Scientific functional areas

 

Who are we looking for

  • Master or Bachelors’ degree, Medical specialization is a plus
  • Proven track record in Business Development or Sales, ideally gained within medical devices but open to other industry sectors. 
  • You have experience in leading a Business Development/ Sales team and coaching and developing your team members.
  • Experience with Urology or Oncology is a plus
  • Good market knowledge/ interest and eager to find new opportunities
  • Ability to develop a strong (personal) customers network and maintain a perfect relationship
  • High willingness to travel and interaction with new contacts
  • Excellent English and German communication skills
  • Ambition to grow personal and functional within the Boston Scientific organization
