About the Role

Responsible for performing inspection and/or audits of all products as per procedure and/or specification, train and certify inspectors to their specific areas.  Normally receives general instructions on new assignments and can perform an inspection for all products.  Work assignments are complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving minor and major problems, routine recommendations for improving product quality and inspection efficiency.



Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Fully support the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects of the incumbent's work and by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements (including, but not limited to, being current on all training requirements for the incumbent's position and documenting that training).
  • Responsible for inspecting and/or auditing incoming materials and components per current procedures and specifications.
  • Responsible for checking labeled unit boxes in final packaging and release to sterilization.
  • Ensure all related paperwork is completed.
  • Train and monitor new and temporary employees.
  • Initiate non-conformance reports for non-conforming products.
  • Interact with the engineers for non-conformance reporting and verification of nonconforming measurements, and identifying new product or first article inspection requirements.




What We’re Looking For In You

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must have basic computer knowledge skills (i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Must be able to work 2nd Shift, typical hours are 2 pm – 10:30 pm


Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of SAP system
  • Medical Device Inspection Experience
  • Some Overtime may be required
