Global Supply Chain Planner II


About the Role:


Responsible for global supply chain planning activities for the Neuromodulation product portfolio required to meet customer needs, marketing requirements and Global Supply Chain objectives. In addition, he/she will support, monitor, and maintain finished goods inventory levels and system integrity as directed by his/her Global Supply Chain Manager (GSCM). 


Your Responsibilities Include:


  • Demand Planning/Scheduling: Assist GSCM, Marketing and Finance with forecast generation and review. Identify and monitor the performance by utilizing GSC key performance indicators and reporting
  • Assist GSCM and Principal Planners in projects, trend analysis & other initiatives like New Product launches and Country Expansions
  • Contribute to the development of inventory plans. Monitor inventory performance to plan and targets. Assist GSCM with management of expired, excess and obsolescence reserves
  • Communicates as needed with Regional or Country Planners and assists in solving problems with Global demand planning and inventory management
  • Support the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning Process
  • Lead low risk departmental projects or processes

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Business
  • 1-3 years working in Operations and/or Supply Chain related functions
  • Experience using SAP or other ERP system
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Distribution Centers, International offices, Suppliers, Manufacturing)


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Distribution Centers, International offices, Suppliers, Manufacturing)
  • Experience using SAP (preferred)
  • Good communication skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Excellent influence abilities
