Purpose

This role is critical to the effective delivery of HR services within the country.  Provides strategic focus to design and execute a people agenda for the country to enable high performance and employee engagement.

  • Support execution of Human Capital Strategy via alignment of HR initiatives and processes. Partner with HR leaders and HR Centers of Excellence to address and satisfy the strategic needs of client groups. Provide HR leadership and direction to organization and manage team members at the site level.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • •Strategic HR Partner to Country Leadership team and Country Coordinator
    •Develop and Execute Country Talent Strategy:
    –including  D & I, Total Rewards, TA Strategy, Employee Engagement, Talent Development,  Leadership development, Workforce Planning, Works Council,  Labour Relations, Succession Planning
    •Manage strategic relationship with Works Council (where applicable), external legal counsel, and external legal and regulatory bodies in the labor and employment environment
    •HR Service Delivery
    –including Policy, ER, Coaching, New Hire Support, Performance Improvement, CMS, IDP, PDC
    •Divisional/ Functional Strategy Execution at country level
    •Interface with the HR Operations team
    •Key contributor to development and execution of regional HR strategy and initiatives
    •Management and development of country HR generalists (where applicable)
    •Maintain current knowledge of external legal and regulatory labor and employment environment, ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements relative to HR and people practices
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to address and satisfy client group(s) requirements. Apply knowledge of key business drivers in making decisions related to human capital.
  • Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives with client group leaders in order to address issues that will enhance overall performance and build the overall human capital capability of the organization.

  • Lead a  team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable, drive those practices throughout their organization.

  • Supervise the activities and budget of the team, projects/programs and/or operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. country and regulatory requirements).

 

Skills/Qualifications:

 

•8+ years of HR experience, with demonstrated knowledge of general HR practices
•Experience in talent management practices
•Strong people management skills
•Excellent communication skills
•Ability to influence senior leaders
