Purpose

 

Supports and drives the EMEA Rhythm Management (RM) FP&A team and the EMEA RM Management team in all FP&A core activities (Planning, Management Reporting & Financial Analysis) for the high-growth EP division, and provides support and leadership on adhoc projects.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • The role is a great opportunity to get exposure to the dynamic Electrophysiology business environment while supporting the EMEA management team (Sales & Marketing) to achieve their business and P&L objectives, and coordinating the local FP&As.

     

    Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as a key contact for EMEA sales and marketing teams to provide key financial analysis, develop relevant sales plans, challenge results, and support new product launches.
  • Act as primary contact for Planning, reporting and monitoring of all EHQ EP budgets:
    • Drive the planning and forecasting processes for EHQ budgets,
    • Analyze and report on EHQ budgets, summarize issues and opportunities for management.
  • Support the month-end close process:
    • Monitor the EMEA EP P&L,
    • Support the monthly reporting and quarterly business reviews (sales and margin analysis, P&L management).
  • Support the EMEA EP planning activities (Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, forecasts):
    • Help manage the agenda and coordinate activities between local FP&As, EMEA divisional management, global division Finance and EHQ finance teams,
    • Provide planning guidance and tools to the local FP&As,
    • Support the consolidation and presentation of the EMEA plan.
  • Drive consistency and simplification of FP&A tools and activities.
  • Drives compliance in all finance related matters (internal audit, SOX, Statutory, monthly Closing, revenue recognition). 

 

Profile Requirements

 

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in FP&A.  
  • Fluent in English (main working language).
  • Strong Excel knowledge and systems adoption (Tableau, Hyperion).
  • Business-oriented: ability to interact with Sales and Marketing management, at all levels, and challenge status quo.
  • Communication: ability to adapt communication style depending on the internal customer.
  • Team spirit: ability to influence group of experienced peers and drive towards company goals.
