About the role:

 

We are seeking an accomplished Project Manager to support our Cardiology Human Resources function with a strong process mindset and a focus and commitment to driving excellence across the HR agenda for Cardiology. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a team governance process and a wide range of strategic talent and organizational initiatives. As an important leader at the Cardiology level, you will collaborate with colleagues within the Cardiology HR team, our functional COEs (Centers of Excellence), legal, people services and our business partners as necessary in driving alignment between HR and business objectives, while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Lead and manage the Cardiology HR governance structure, which, includes oversight of regularly scheduled team meetings and reviews.
  • Lead a monthly steering team and project execution forum to ensure execution against committed timelines and goals.
  • Partners with the Corporate HR Directors of Program Management to ensure alignment of programs and timely planning and execution.
  • Partner with the broader HR PMO organization to ensure the application of best practices across all key talent and organizational programs.
  • Generate and oversee an annual calendar of programs and events for Cardiology HR and lead the processes necessary to deliver on standard programs such as TR&SP, DE&I annual plans and the inclusion council, CMS, Cardiology Awards, Engagement survey, etc.
  • Run and support the development of our annual Cardiology HR strategic plan and annual operating plan.
  • Operate as the lead PM for key Cardiology, HR led talent and organizational programs which are often associated with delivering on key business goals and objectives.
  • Build key HR and business partner relationships across Cardiology and our COEs
  • HR related programs for divisional HRBP team to ensure alignment with corporate strategies, business strategies and divisional priorities and work closely with COE divisional contacts/partners to align divisional HR strategy with overall COE initiatives. 
  • HR VIP champion for Cardiology
  • In conjunction with the Cardiology HR Admin, support community and engagement activities as appropriate.
  • Acts as a liaison with stakeholders and effectively communicates program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Communicates updates by preparing standard status reports, and by participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings.
  • Conducts life cycle postmortems and communicates lessons learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from Success Factors. Develop and maintain reports summarizing development or functional projects and HR specific data. Interpret and prepare executive summaries.  Make recommendations in accordance with findings. 
  • Establish a high level of proficiency in our HR Dashboards and ensure the effective use of data in generating important KPIs for all key HR programs and initiatives.
  • Support team members and sometimes the leader of programs for various culture, engagement, and community initiatives.  
  • Help in the creation and maintenance of team sites to organization divisional dashboards and metrics.
  • Work professionally and productively in a deadline driven environment and maintains standards and service levels regarding all assigned tasks including department inquiries, HR related data, and all other HR documentation updates.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred. 
  • Experience building strategic and engaging presentations, updating and organizing data and content, and working with surveys and associated technology. 
  • Ability to execute through leveraging competency in collaboration, relationship building, and communication.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Windows applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), in addition to a curiosity to learn new AI technologies.
  • Self-starter, capable of assessing a situation, making the right decision and following through with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to handle extremely confidential and sensitive information.
  • Requires high degree of concentration and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized. Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects at one time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the workplace.
  • Work under general direction of the Cardiology Group Vice President HR, in addition to supporting the global team.
  • Non-HR experience welcomed but holds a passion for learning HR practices and tools.
