As a Medical Assembler, your primary focus would be:

  • Building quality medical products while following processes to meet production needs 
  • Adhering to safety policies and practices
  • Responsibility for quality and adhering to manufacturing process requirements
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and related principles and able to be flexible and rotate as necessary
  • Under the direction of others, maintains accurate records within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Shop Floor Paperwork (SFP), Training Records System (TRS), Product Data Management (PDM), Systems Application & Products (SAP) and Process Equipment Optimization (PEO)
  • Moderate mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn how to set-up equipment to meet process specifications


To be qualified to work as a Medical Assembler, you should have:

  • Relevant related work experience
  • The ability to follow routine tasks working from detailed written or verbal instructions
  • Decision making skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
