Field Clinical Specialist – TAVI - EMEA

Purpose Statement

Field Clinical Specialist (FCS) – TAVI - EMEA provides field/remote clinical, technical & educational support at EMEA level. This role is part of our “Floating Team” and covers all of EMEA requiring frequent travel, often at short notice. Work is driven by Customer demand and pre-planned as well as ad-hoc support requirements. The primary focus is with case support by using clinical expertise to influence Customer usage of the full portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Provide field/ remote clinical support in the areas of supporting case coverage, basic troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.
• Work is driven by Customer demand and pre-planned as well as ad-hoc support requirements
• Attend cases face to face/ remotely with our customer and advise physicians on clinical attributes / techniques associated with our products.
• Ensure timely collection, reporting of all required medical documentation pertaining to our procedural device operation.
• Support team to achieve projected sales goals and increase sales revenues.
• Respond to complex customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical, research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
• Record customer information and activities in company’s CRM system: use the system as an alignment tool with other commercial roles.
• Provide education support on product usage and customer training

What are we looking for in you:

• Minimum 1 year experience in TAVI, Structural Heart or any other cardiology-related speciality (as Field Clinical Specialist or similar)
• Degree in Biomedical Engineering or similar highly desirable
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex technical and clinical details.
• Able to rapidly adapt to a very dynamic marketplace.
• Strong team player, collaborative, ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally.
• Self-motivated and able to influence others.
• Flexible, adaptable but focused and persistent.
• Willing and able to travel extensively as required by workload
