About the role:

Boston Scientific is looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 System Administrator to join our IT team and manage the configuration, security, and compliance of our cloud-based platform. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the best practices and policies for M36 Governance, ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our services and data. This position requires a strong foundation of technical skills coupled with a strategic midset, ability to collaborate with others, excellent troubleshooting skills and strong communication skills.

 

You're Responsibilities include:

 

  • Plan, design, and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions, including identity and access management, device management, data protection, threat protection, and compliance management.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services and issues, using various tools and methods.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders, resolving incidents and requests in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for Microsoft 365 administration and governance.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Microsoft 365 and related technologies, and recommend improvements and enhancements.
  • Demonstrates technical leadership by staying current on new technologies
  • Maintain collaborative working relationship with IS services (database, data center, servers, desktop, networking, security), and software vendors, as needed
  • Create and maintain all required technical documentation per IS methodology and processes
  • Adheres to project plans, tasks, and deliverables; identify dependencies and resource requirements
  • Appropriately communicates project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines and action items
  • Works closely with the project team (internal and external) to assure a timely solution

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 Administration, Configuration, and Governance
  • Demonstrated experience with PowerShell automation
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and features, such as Azure Active Directory, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange, Power Platform, and Security and Compliance Center.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation for Microsoft 365 management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic
  • Exceptional organizational & time management skills
  • Minimum of 7+ years experience  in Information Technology and 5+ years experience with Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Ability to work in a Global team collaboratively in person and virtually.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, related technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certification in Microsoft 365 or related technologies, such as MS-100, MS-101, MS-500, or MS-700, is a plus.
  • Experience \ Knowledge of networking technologies
  • Experience \ Knowledge of end point security tools
  • Experience \ Knowledge of ITIL
