FP&A Manager, GEM Central

 

As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager you will be responsible of managing and providing guidance and insights in the areas of Financial Planning for the region across divisions efficiently.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Business Partnering and Decision Support - Act as primary partner to the Regional Director, Divisional BUMs, GEM HQ, functional stakeholders for all GEM Central (Turkey, Central Asia and Pakistan) Financial Planning and Analysis activities within the Region: Advise in setting appropriately challenging objectives for Regional/Divisional performance; support various modeling scenarios on P&L leverage with different exchange rates, margin analysis, price/volume, adhoc; Participate in Quarterly Business Review; Assist in setting appropriate financial targets; Linking strategies and tactics to financial objectives.
  • Financial Reporting, planning and Close Management - Responsible for leading compliance with budgeting/ forecasting/Strat Plan calendar & guidelines (i.e. FP&A timelines, guidance communication, targets etc.), attending the regular GEM FP&A meetings, monthly & quarterly business reviews and quarterly plan reviews: Monitor and measure business performance to ensure maximization of opportunities to meet or exceed targets; Provide guidance/advice to ensure performance targets are achieved. Month End Closing: monitor and support the closing activities with Accounting Team and ensure the closing is completed in compliance with BSC policies. [Key deliverables: Sales /Margin analysis, performance and gap analysis vs plan/fcst, pricing/volume analysis, QBR's/MBR's, OPEX, CAPEX, DSO, etc.]   
  • Continuous Improvement, Productivity and Innovation - Establish, maintain and/or leverage as appropriate information systems to support the FP&A process.  Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity and analysis, increase efficiencies, manage costs and maintain state of the art practices.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business management, engineering, or related field
  • Finance or Accounting discipline; MBA or CPA equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 7-9 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and controlling (mix of audit and real sector experience is must) - Experience in healthcare industry a plus
  • Management of FP&A activities for multiple countries in a commercial environment
  • Experienced in US GAAP and TTK reporting
  • SAP & Hyperion knowledge is a must
  • Full P&L management experience including closing, reporting, and forecasting activities
  • Experience supporting commercial organizations with different business models and transactions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail, as well as ability to think strategically and see the bigger picture
  • Analytical thinker, accountable, self-starter, hands-on, problem solver, agile communicator
  • Business partnering: Customer focus - Consistently identifies (internal) customer needs and ensures the effective delivery of high quality and value-added solutions & services
  • Proven communication and influencing capabilities; highly collaborative and able to navigate matrixed organization
  • Ability to tell a compelling story, adapt finance language to the audience
  • Flexible and change-oriented; demonstrates adaptability and readily supports and drives change and continuous improvement
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (essential)
