Business Analyst- Capital Equipment/ SAP


 
About the role:  

The Business Process Analyst is responsible for supporting the Global Capital Equipment Technical Services (CETS) team at Boston Scientific with a unique opportunity to be directly part of a transformation initiative that will redefine the systems, process and customer experience around the commercialization and servicing of Capital Equipment. 

This role represents the Business Users, collaborating with the Magellan Workstreams, Strategic Integration Vendors, Boston Scientific Business Process Leads, Subject Matter Experts, COP teams and Stakeholders across the network. Magellan is a global business transformation program accompanying a move of our ERP system from SAP ECC to S4 HANA with a goal to simplify, standardize and modernize our core business processes, enabling Boston Scientific to better leverage the power of data and to position our business for profitable and sustainable growth. 

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful Business Transformation across the Magellan Service to Cash team. This role will operate in a Scaled Agile ERP Framework, under the direction of the Product Owner, Magellan Service to Cash. Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Represent the business user by working closely with Stakeholders to translate User Requirements into Business User Stories and the ‘Who, What, Why’ Acceptance Criteria 
  • Analyze and translate User Requirements distinctly and assess options before arriving at the aspired solution to improving current systems to increase productivity 
  • Coordinating the User Requirements, aligning to Testing Scenarios, creation of test cases, and execution of test cases to support the Testing Phase and network-wide Deployment 
  • Liaise with the Training team and Site Super Users/ Business Process Leads /Subject Matter Experts to support training plans for each of the key Applications to enhance the knowledge base across the Service to Cash workstream 
  • Proactively influencing functionally, regionally, in areas of new concepts, adoption of Best Practices and simplify and standardize to those Best Practice across Service to Cash Business processes and its interfacing application ServiceMax. 
  • Coordinating and liaison with the other Magellan Workstreams, Business Process Leads, SME’s, Communities of Practice’s, IT Solution Architects/COE and Stakeholders across the network to develop a strong and deep pool of expertise across Service to Cash 
  • Collaborate with the broader Magellan Outbound Workstream, IT Solution Architects/ COE and the other Magellan Workstreams in a Scalable Agile Framework/DevOps methodology, to enable rapid deployment.  


What we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required. 
  • 2+ Technical professional or operational experience in medical device field. 
  • 2+ years of Systems/Applications in SAP; Business Process Leads /Subject Matter Experts in one or more of: SAP, salesforce, ServiceMax. 
  • Previous experience of a major program introduction/upgrade, ideally within an IT/Systems or Business representative role. 
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems combined with knowledge of key business processes. 
  • A proven track record of Continuous Improvement, system upgrades/enhancements, proactive problem solving or LBP.

Preferred skills : 

  • Working knowledge of SAP S4Hana service management and/or ServiceMax processes 
  • Analytical Problem Solving and Critical thinking. 
  • Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to understand gaps and risk assessment 
  • Good listening and communication skills, with ability to transfer knowledge efficiently 
  • Process Modeling capabilities 
  • Demonstrated high degree of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to establish credibility 
  • Sense of urgency and commitment to execution 

 

This role will be located at our European Distribution Center Kerkrade with the possibility to work 2 days hybrid with a flexible scheme.
