Role Summary

The Associate Director of Commercial Operations & Profitability Enablement will lead the Sales Operations, Compensation & Operating Expense teams for all the Peripheral Intervention US divisions. This high impact role will be responsible for creating & leading commercial strategies aimed at driving profitable growth for the divisions. Leveraging data driven insights, actionable analytics, tactical execution and cross-functional influence, this highly collaborative, strategic role will partner with stakeholders across the commercial organization to maximize effectiveness and efficiency of the field sales organization. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership, collaboration, communication & analytical skills.  In addition, experience in finance, sales compensation, and/or sales operations with an emphasis on budget development and management is required.

 

Your Responsibilities include:

  • Leads & develops an elite Sales Operations, Compensation & Operating Expense team focused on achieving organizational goals and creating a culture of high-performance.
  • Develops and manages detailed budgets for annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes and supports investment prioritization and contingency planning.
  • Leads large, complex projects & initiatives to support strategic objectives & evolve the selling organization’s focus on profitable growth.
  • Creates & drives a continuous improvement mindset and influences other functions to enable improved productivity and business impact.
  • Collaborates with senior leaders across finance, sales, marketing, IT and other sales operations functions to develop & deliver commercial strategies while ensuring alignment to overall fiscal objectives.
  • Partners with sales and marketing to maintain knowledge of the industry & competition to inform & prioritize go-to-market strategies & tactics.
  • Provides senior sales management with insights, analysis, reporting, and tools to drive field sales personnel performance and identify areas for further optimization.
  • Researches, disseminates, and applies industry best practices to create a world-class sales operations & compensation organization with highly competent team members, optimized processes, and robust systems & data assets.
  • Ensures accountability for development, implementation, & administration of compensation programs, pay distribution, monthly & quarterly budgeting, and procedures that support commercial strategies, align with financial objectives, & drive impact.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation plans, develops actionable insights, and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
  • Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies/procedures, federal, state, & local compensation laws & regulations

 

What we’re looking for in you:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Budget development in Financial Planning & Analysis experience (FP&A)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, compensation, &/or sales operations
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets, driving process improvement, value improvement, and strategic solutions.
  • Highly motivated, high impact individual with strong technical, analytical and leadership competencies.
  • Strong business acumen and deep functional knowledge of sales operations, compensation design & administration principles
  • Significant experience interacting with senior levels of management
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree
  • Experience in medical device industry
  • Familiarity with SAP, Tableau, SFDC, & Anaplan software
