1st Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

About the role:
This position works independently to assist PD engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.
 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products from concepts.
• Work in a wet chemistry lab prototyping new products through synthesis and formulation.
• Explore and propose creative solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
• Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment
• Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.
• Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
• Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
• Act as a resource to other employees.
• Communicate project status and technical details to project teams. 
• Train product builders and other technicians and provide technical.

Required qualifications:

• 3 years with an AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
• Polymer Synthesis experience
• Wet Chemistry experience
• Hazardous Chemical procurement and handling experience
• Creating controlled documents (Work Instructions, Batch Record Forms, SFP)
• Experience in cGMP environment
• Assist in writing validation plans, executing plans, and completing validation reports
