About the role:
The Principal Commercial Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to derive insights aimed at developing strategic business plans and programs. They will create measurement strategies, plans, and reports for commercial programs ensuring that they are aligned with the overarching objectives of divisional priorities.  You will support and implement process improvement and change management activities including identification of opportunities, process/tech redesign, solution implementation, progress monitoring, and continuous improvement.
                    

This role can sit at BSC's Marlborough, MA or Maple Grove/Arden Hills, MN campuses.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

    • Analyzing data from multiple sources, identifying trends and insights to improve program performance, sales impact and opportunities.
    • Partner with business stakeholders to develop E2E data analytics to improve business process and transparency.
    • Collaborate with data science and analytics leads across other domains to share and learn best practices from across the enterprise.
    • Proactively initiate ad-hoc analysis that brings solutions and recommendations to key stakeholders.
    • Partner with cross functional stakeholders, including IT and Corporate functions, to ensure closed-loop communication and alignment with other site/business unit leadership stakeholders.
    • Understand voice of business/users and document commercial business processes.
    • Support the development and implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitor success measures, and data visualization.
    • Monitor key metrics and generate reports that measure the impact of commercial programs, drive strategy and contribute to improved performance and efficiencies. 
    • Developing and executing measurement plans for key commercial programs.
    • Identify and interpret data, formulating insights, and successfully communicating actionable recommendations and implications to teams.
    • Contributing to operational improvements to maximize efficiency and leading the development of new reports, dashboards, and processes.
    • Ensuring data practices adhere to privacy-first principals.
    • Develop AI and data science initiatives to solve complex business problems.
    • Stay informed about the latest analytics trends and data science/AI techniques relevant to our goals.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field
    • 5+ years of experience in an analytical role within Marketing, Finance, or similar functional area
    • Highly motivated, high impact individual with strong technical and analytical competencies
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to effectively communicate with different functions across organization.
    • Ability to identify opportunities for process enhancement, propose new solutions, and implement changes that positively impact business operations.
    • Strong familiarity with CRM and Analytics tools including Salesforce Sales Cloud, SAP, Tableau, Excel, or equivalent platforms
    • Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehousing technology.
    • Experience using machine learning and other advanced techniques to perform complex data analysis.
    • Experience presenting the results of complex analytical and data science concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
    • Prior healthcare industry experience.
    • B2B marketing or sales experience.
    • Experience with healthcare industry data and vendors such as CMS, Definitive Healthcare, IQVIA, and Komodo Health.
    • Experience collaborating on projects across marketing and sales.
