About the role: 
The Senior Event Marketing Specialist is responsible for effectively developing measurable event strategies, experiences, and environments, as well as executing logistics and budgets for our tradeshows and internal meetings for the Urology business. This individual must be a master at multi-tasking, executing tactics, managing multiple events, multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities. This position can be based out of our Maple Grove, MN facility or our Marlborough, MA facility. 
 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implement brand, portfolio and product stories and experiences in measurable, meaningful ways at industry events, aligning to broader Urology strategies
  • Manage industry tradeshows and sponsorships that are reflective of our event strategies, audience and meeting objectives, as well as cohesive integration with content, logistics, budget and customer events. 
  • Recommend new and innovative improvements, digital/technology experiences, and best practices that enhance the brand experience for current and prospective customers. 
  • Manage and control event budgets with precision and accuracy, including but not limited to updating event budgets, tracking spend and reporting in a timely manner. 
  • Recommend new or enhanced processes to continuously improve event execution and efficiency.
  • Oversee agency and vendor resources for event services and creative deliverables. 
  • Organize and lead regular planning meetings with project teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Content Managers to create a visually dynamic exhibit experience that delivers key brand, portfolio and product level messages.
  • Ensure critical deadlines are communicated, tracked and met via a deliverable timeline. 
  • Clearly communicate objectives, project status and updates to members of stakeholder teams on a regular and consistent basis.
  • Prepare and deliver post-show results and metrics that report on event goals, objectives and customer engagement activities.
  • Execute meeting and logistic requirements. 
     

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of tradeshow planning 
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, programs and changing priorities
  • Ability to think strategically, while also project managing and executing tactics, details, deadlines and budgets
  • Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic & international), including weekends 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing events in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceuticals, finance)
  • Experience working within a global organization and with customers and vendors outside the U.S.
  • Experience with Cvent, Sales Force and Marketing Cloud 
  • Strong ability to influence and negotiate
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
