About the role 
 
The R&D systems intern works in collaboration with the R&D Engineering team to design cutting-edge medical devices through testing and create various technical documents.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Beta test software systems to aid the development team to ensure quality product is released.
  • Record and track defects in a bug tracking system.
  • Execute manual/automated test cases to ensure the design meets the requirements.
  • Document test results.
  • Import manual test procedures into online application.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Undergraduate candidate working towards a degree in engineering or related field.
  • An analytical and quantitative approach to work, as well as the confidence to influence people at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge of testing concepts for electromechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14971.

 

About the role 
 
Le stagiaire tests R-D travaille en collaboration avec les différents acteurs du Service d’ingénierie afin de concevoir des dispositifs médicaux de pointe par le biais d’essais et de créer divers documents techniques.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Effectuer des essais bêta de systèmes logiciels afin d’aider l’équipe de développement à livrer un produit de qualité.
  • Noter les défauts et en assurer le suivi dans un système de suivi des bogues.
  • Exécuter des scénarios d’essai manuels ou automatisés pour vérifier que les résultats de la phase de conception répondent aux exigences.
  • Documenter les résultats des essais.
  • Importer des procédures de test manuelles dans une application en ligne.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Étudiant(e) en génie ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Approche analytique et quantitative du travail et confiance nécessaire pour influencer les gens à tous les niveaux.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en matière d’organisation, de communication et de collaboration.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en matière de documentation.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Connaissance technique des concepts relatifs aux essais d’équipements électromécaniques.
  • Connaissance des normes ISO 13485 et FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
  • Connaissance de la norme ISO 14971.a
