The Engineer have formal engineering education, basic technical skill set, and the ability to work in a team setting. Applies engineering skills in problem-solving.

Gains knowledge in engineering concepts, business practices, and core business principles

Responsible for providing mechanical engineering support in the creation and the development of new medical device products (invasive and non-invasive).

 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
 
  • Basic understanding of the design change methodology
  • Carry out engineering calculations to reach towards design solution.
  • Break down bigger task into smaller subtasks. Requires supervision to not derail.
  • Overall process phase names and definitions. Needs guidance to understand concept and execute deliverables in line with PLCP
  • Basic understanding of PLM/Windchill portal
  • Basic Skills in technical communication in terms of Technical report writing  and communication with stakeholders

 

 
Quality System Requirements:
 

In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:

 
  • Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
  • Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.

 

Required Skill-Sets:

 

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical
  • Must have experience in product design development.
  • Should have hands on product design, documentation along with testing.
  • Nice to have medical device development experience.
  • Must have worked in global environment.
  • Nice to have experience in working on technology product design or new product development.
  • Strong communication is required.
  • 4-6 Years of experience
