This position works closely with R&D Engineers, and/or teams in the making of prototypes/components/ Feasibility study.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Execution of prototype or test setup or test zig building using soldering station, Electronics components, Multimeter, DSO and other tools as per the laid down SOP/WI, Protocols.
      • Planning of jobs in case of multiple projects running simultaneously.
      • Assisting Designers/Engineers in all prototype finishing activities.
      • Understanding of the SOP/WI.
      • Understanding of schematic and wiring diagram.
      • Understanding of Test Protocol and Test Report
      • Knowledge of soldering is a must.
  • Operate and maintain equipment as per the requirements.
      • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
      • Maintain the ESD protocol for the Electrical LAB
      • Maintain equipment’s calibration (both internal / external)
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
  • Preparing the equipment’s work instructions / SOPs.
  • Preparing the required documentation for Audits eg. EHS Audits
  • Participate in root cause investigation exercise.
  • Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks.
  • Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and difference requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the job accomplishments.
  • Carrying out other routine tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualification and Skillset
             

  • Basic Qualifications, Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with experience of 4+ years in prototyping activities preferably at Medical device/Automobile sector
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
  • 3-5 Years of experience
  • Managing Electrical Lab Experience.
  • Experience in maintaining calibration
  • Prototyping and development
  • Experience in Bench Setup and Development
