Coordinates activities of cross functional teams in the development of BSC systems. Independently or as member of a team; develops system specifications, system designs, system tests and design validation activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Participates on project teams to develop clear system specifications, feasibility plans and reports and system integration tests. May include simulations, mathematical analysis and/or system interaction analysis.
  • Lead/Support systems investigations and research activities to define and/or understand how systems interface with biological systems.
  • Ensures adequate translation of system requirements to module requirements.
  • Participates in requirements analysis and designing of test strategies and test procedures to evaluate the behavior of the system/software/firmware as compared to the specified requirements.
  • Develops use models and user interfaces. Plans and executes design verification activities.
  • Complete project deliverables and monitor project schedule and scope changes to assure team can meet delivery requirements.
  • Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate status and results.
  • Influences and defines functional, departmental/divisional procedures through involvement with cross-functional engineering initiatives.
  • Provides training to clinical field staff on adequate use of equipment.
  • Supports system risk management activities, Use/Design FMEA’s, risk/hazard analysis.
  • Mentors’ engineers in engineering activities/methodologies and domain knowledge.
  • Analyzes and coordinates system testing (i.e. validation, verification).

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

  • B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Mechanical Lead Engineer
  • Experience in Medical Device
  • Testing Method and Design Control
  • Cross Functional Collaboration
  • DHF Remediation and Sustaining Process.
  • MDR Remediation Activities.
  • Worked with Cross Function Team
  • Experience required – 12 – 17 Years
  • Travel – 10%
