About the role: 
This role provides MES support to the Production department at the Quincy Boston Scientific site which handles medical device kitting, rework, and postponement functions for the company. This role will specifically support the global Ideal Product Flow (IPF) initiative. This entails new product introduction and new process development. This role requires on-site presence until trained with the potential to reduce to a hybrid schedule. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding the requirements of the business, Quincy, and/or project, and configuring them in MES. 
• Creating/Modifying MES models for new product / process introduction to meet strategic goals of the company (specifically IPF).
• Maintaining rigorous change control via Windchill for MES model configuration.
• Advising and assisting others with their role in the MES change control process. 
• Providing support for site resources during initial launch and rollout, as well as day-to-day support for existing configurations. 
• Supporting value improvement projects for Quincy Production.
• Providing fast-reaction support during hours of production (on-site and/or remotely).
• Understanding the MES system, not only to fix systemic issues, but also to determine root causes of failure.
• Collaborating with the engineer in charge of the process iteratively.
• Understanding of connection between other systems such as Windchill, SAP, BAM

Required qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or technology related field
• 2+ years’ experience with manufacturing-related systems
• Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred qualifications:

• MES, SAP, Windchill experience
• Engineering degree
