ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position will monitor strategy execution for the field sales force and will need to work with multiple functions; Marketing, Finance, HEMA, Supply Chain, as well as be able to partner with the sales force in assisting their processes, strategic business support translating data into insightful information to influence commercial contracting strategy. This role will also provide support to the Sales organization in its commercial transformation efforts by driving compliance and standardization through the appropriate use of technology and analytics.

 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

•            Lead the development of tools to effectively measure, analyze and control key indicators and implements best practices, processes, and tools to ensure effective workflow, consistent process execution and unified approaches that maximize sales support execution, quality, effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.

•            Act as the lead with the Commercial team and BSC functions (such as Finance, Marketing, Regulatory, HEMA and Supply Chain) to ensure programs and initiatives are launched in a sustainable fashion and that all commercial aspects are delivered correctly.

•            Work with the Commercial Director to determine and implement a set of optimal metrics to measure and monitor commercial performance and effectiveness.

•            Manages projects: Develops project plans outlining work plans, timelines, roles and resources; Identifies and leads cross-functional project team comprised of project managers, functional experts and local managers; Manages team progress to ensure achievement of all milestones and deliverables; Provides updates to senior management and all stakeholders of progress through frequent communications of findings at regular intervals via reports and meetings.

•            Manage the customer contracting administration process.

•            Contribute to achieving long-term goals by identifying changing customer needs, competitive models, new technology and long-term macro trends (pricing, policy, industry, etc.) and develop strategic recommendations for future economic business models. Challenge the Commercial Organization on portfolio rationalization, upselling, portfolio combinations, promotions, etc.

•            Complete ad-hoc and routine analytical requests to drive profitable deals and support the commercial decision-making process (incl. regular reports on selected customers’ performance, customer P&Ls, deal modelling, waterfalls, and other tools to assist in negotiation planning and preparation, customer forecasts in support of AOP, strategic planning and individual objective-setting)

•            Identifies business initiatives: Works with business leaders to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that support profitable and sustainable growth.

•            Develops recommendations: Develops and delivers project recommendations to senior management and all stakeholders; Presents changes in business strategy including key markets, distribution channels, pricing, processes, and organization; Develops implementation strategy.

•            Identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems and process being examined (process improvement/reengineering projects).

•            Evaluates internal control systems and recommends improvements in controls (control projects). Manages systems development or process improvement projects by applying basic project management methodology.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

•            Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of experience in sales operations/process improvement processes. MBA preferred.

•            Strong business acumen and deep functional knowledge of sales operations & administration principles.

•            Demonstrated Digital Agility (Digital Proficiency, Data Insights, Digital User and Customer Engagement and Experience).

•            Demonstrated success driving process improvement, value improvement, and strategic solutions.

•            Highly motivated, high impact individual with strong technical, analytical and leadership competencies.

•            Significant experience interacting with senior levels of management.

•            Strong customer/user focus, stakeholder management with influential skills, and collaboration.

•            Experience leading complex cross-functional teams and projects.

•            Understanding of analytical and financial aspects in managing assigned projects.

•            Ability to excel in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment with agility and flexibility.

•            Energetic, enthusiastic, outcome-oriented, curious with an innovative mindset.

•            Ability to travel.

•            Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, etc.) and familiarity with SAP, Tableau & SFDC.

•            Experience with CRM platforms and LMS are valuable assets.

•            Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
