Your responsibilities will include: 

The Head of US Sales, DBS develops and directs sales strategies that optimize revenue, ASP, or OI goals for the Division with primary responsibility for leading the US Team to accomplish sales objectives.

  • Drives successful performance consistent with business forecasts.  Identifies and takes appropriate corrective action as required.  Ensures consistent achievement of all administrative goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining top sales talent with a commitment to diverse talent sourcing.  Optimizes geographic deployment of field personnel to achieve maximum customer interface time and minimum travel and costs.
  • Ensures retention of the established customer base.  Aggressively grows and develops new customers and clinics.  Develops excellent customer relationships.
  • Acts as a Liaison between Franchise GM, Field Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Training, Field Marketing and National Accounts to ensure operation as a seamless, customer-focused team.
  • May direct or provide input to the sales strategy and annual planning process.
  • Manages within assigned budget.
  • Provides leadership for the development and implementation of appropriate sales and clinical training programs.  Supports employee and management training & development.
  • Provides input to the development of field incentive compensation plans that address & drive behaviors required to assure that the company's revenue, ASP & GP goals are achieved.
  • Plans & directs National Sales Meetings.  Provide leadership for staffing & operational support of national & regional trade shows.
  • Utilizes appropriate metrics to help guide & direct activities.
  • Provides for effective lines of communication within the department & across the business infrastructure.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends and provides analytics of market share and segmentation to enable optimal business strategy within region.

 

What we’re looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree. 
  • 10+ years in Medical Device required. 
  • 5+ years in a sales management position required. 
  • Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) experience ideal. 
  • Other experience with cranial neurosurgery, epilepsy, robotic spinal or brain surgery, image guided surgery, electro physiology, neurological pharmaceuticals preferred. 
  • Experience growing new markets and indications while outpacing established device and non-device competitors preferred.
